Choose how deep you want to go

Every tier includes a saliva collection kit, lab processing, and a genetic specialist-reviewed interpretation that's yours to keep. The difference is how much of your genome we read - and how much detail comes back.

Why the price is competitive: We run your sample as part of a full weekly batch, not individually - it's how our partner lab keeps cost per sample low, and passes that saving to you. In exchange, the full process takes up to 8 weeks rather than starting right away.

After your results

So what will you actually do with your genetic report?

Your genetic report, together with your raw genetic data, becomes a resource you can return to for years rather than a one-time report. As genetic research advances, the same data can be reinterpreted and explored from new perspectives.

There are already a growing number of services that can analyze your personal genetic data and generate additional insights. These include free tools such as GenVue and gene.iobio, as well as paid services such as Sequencing.com and Xcode Life.

You can also use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to help explore your results. For example, you can ask what specific genetic variants may mean for your health, which dietary or lifestyle choices may be more relevant to your genetics, which blood markers might be worth monitoring, whether certain supplements may be appropriate to discuss with a healthcare professional, how sleep and exercise could interact with your genetic profile, or which findings may be worth raising with your doctor or a genetic counselor.

Used thoughtfully, these insights can help you make more personalized decisions about your habits, prevention, and long-term health, rather than relying only on population averages. Your DNA does not change, but our understanding of it does. That is why having access to your own genetic data and being able to revisit it as science evolves is where much of its long-term value lies.

AI tools can help you make sense of a vast amount of public medical research, but their answers aren't medical advice - always verify anything significant with an actual clinician.

Not sure which tier?

Most customers choose Exome - it covers the regions where the large majority of known disease-linked variants sit. Choose Genome if you want full-genome coverage, ancestry composition, and the most future-proof dataset as research advances.

Your data stays yours

Not a diagnosis

Tunio reports are for general wellness and informational use. Significant findings should always be confirmed and discussed with a physician or genetic counselor.
